Living near the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas provided not only great concerts to attend, but also an opportunity for Mary's young son, Alex to experience Buzzfest every year. He would periodically bring bands to the house for a home cooked meal. As a thank you, the band Atreyu invited Mary to be side stage during a concert. This experience and the photos she took prompted the tattoo series.
